Build your own Raku kiln and go home at the end of the day with a complete, fully functional kiln!

Would you like to try Raku firing and build your own kiln? During this practical and enjoyable one-day workshop, you will learn how to build a gas-fired Raku kiln and how to use it for firing.

Workshop Dates

  • Friday, September 25
  • Saturday, October 17
  • Saturday, October 31

What will you do?

The workshop starts in the morning with building your own Raku kiln. Everything is explained step by step, and all the necessary materials are provided.

In the afternoon, we will use a similar kiln for a real Raku firing. You will learn how to apply our Raku glazes to your own workpiece, how the firing process works, how to use the burner. What to look out for during firing and how to achieve the best results.

At the end of the day, you will take your own handmade Raku kiln home with you.

A handy partner may join you for free!
