Raku Firing in a microwave oven!
The useful space in the kiln is Ø 7 cm and 4 cm high.
Because the ovens are often used for glass fusing, we have replaced the original bottom with an extra sturdy bottom made of insulating brick.

Caution!
Not every microwave is the same and has the same wattage.
In the video, we fire to the desired temperature in 20 minutes.
In another microwave, this temperature can be reached in 6 minutes!
Therefore, always start with caution when beginning. And start with 3-5 minutes in your microwave.
Get to know your microwave. If you heat too long and too hard, your hotpot can break.
Read the description that comes with the hotpot carefully. Even if it is intended for glass fusing.
